INITIAL FREE CONSULTATION
This free initial consultation can take place in the Excel showroom, where you can view salon design ideas and concepts.
Then we can discuss your requirements from budget through to salon design requirements, making preliminary suggestions and to assess how much involvement you will need.
Your free initial consultation will take up to a couple of hours depending on the size of your project.
This salon design meeting has three main objectives:
• It allows us to introduce our company and present to you what we can offer.
• It gives us an understanding of what you are looking to achieve with your project.
• It will give you time to view our product ranges taking in all the textures and colours available.
• Flooring, wall and lighting concepts are on show with expert guidance on all aspects.
• You will be able to see completed projects from drawing stage through to the finished results.
THE SALON DESIGN STAGES
The first stage is for a site visit where we can discuss ideas and list all desired requirements. Within this meeting we will measure the floor space ready to be entered into a CAD salon design program. The CAD salon designs will be drawn to demonstrate different working layouts in 2D look down view.
With these salon designs a second meeting will be planned to go over each layout to discuss the positives and negatives of each salon design. When a good understanding is achieved of the salon designs a further layout will be produced to combine all the positive ideas until a strong salon layout is achieved that suits your requirements best. The drawings supplied are at the idea stage and will be drawn to a very close scale.
Please note: As with all salon design idea drawings cross references will be required when the decision is made to start the project build. These drawings are not to an architectural level and any structural or planning permission requirements will need to be undertaken and are not covered in the fee.
LIGHTING DESIGN
Drawings can be supplied to show working and feature lighting. This will show the layout of each fitting with lighting features to create the ambient light that will make a room special. Please note this is only available when attached to the above salon design service.
An additional cost applies.
THE BUILD STAGE
You may decide to implement the salon designs yourself at this stage and we will give you any reasonable help and advice required. However if you would like us to manage the entire project for you we will act on your behalf and use our experience and knowledge to complete the project.
Following your approval of the final salon design, the specifications are prepared and estimates obtained. If it's just salon furniture requirements you need then we will be pleased to list out each item with a break down of individual costs.
STARTING THE PROJECT
We have considerable experience working on projects that require surveyors, architects, structural engineers, planning permission and building regulations. Laceys Salon Design has teams of contractors who we have worked with for a number of years.
We take away all hassle of managing contractors: Builders, Fitters, Plumbers, Joiners, Plasterers, Electricians, Decorators & Specialist trades and provide you with the essential support & guidance through the project with regular updates on progress, budgets and timelines.
TRUE PROJECT MANAGEMENT
We always assure compliance and quality of all works undertaken. All sourcing of furniture, flooring, lighting, fixtures & fittings are supplied at competitive rates.
A detailed quotation is supplied for client approval and payment is required prior to the placement of any orders, a fee is charged to cover coordination, management of contractors, delivery, installation and legal disposal of any packaging and waste.
3D VISUALISATION
If you are finding it difficult to visualise your new interior layout Laceys Salon Design can provide 3D drawings for an extra cost. This cost all depends on the amount of 3D design rendering required.

SALON PHOTOGRAPHY
All of the UK salons and showroom images have been produced and edited in house at Laceys. In this service we offer a full set of interior images of your completed project.
Within the set are branding and product shots that can be used for marketing purposes. These images work well for the enhancement of your web site and will portray your salon at its best.
